Remember that day? You caught my eye, and I caught yours. We're a distance away, but we've never felt closer. The chilling wind around us fades to nothing, and all we feel are the warmth of each other's smiles. We were so close to the rest of our lives together. You took my hand, and I gave you my heart. We moved to London together because we both decided that a day without each other, was a day not worth living. We'd sit by the fireplace in the winter, you'd hold me in your arms, I'd be holding a cup of hot chocolate, and our border collie Charlie would be resting by our feet. You'd tell me about your day, and I'd tell you about mine; we'd laugh as Charlie jumps on us and licks us in the face, and we'd spent the next twenty minutes arguing about who Charlie liked more. And as time goes by, there's not a day you'd forget to tell me you love me, there's not a day I'd fail to look into your eyes and remember how blessed I am to have you. Days and months go by, we'd be so consumed in our love for each other. And when we reminisce about how we first met, on top of that chilly mountain in Switzerland, where our eyes met for the first time.
Then we realize, we've never even met.
And I never even got your name.
