Peek into my life over the past three weeks with everything that's been going on.
I've mainly been consumed by USS stuff as retail training and work took up quite a huge part of my time. It is tiring working as a retail associate though, especially at Universal Studios Store where our closing hours is later than any other store in the park. Sometimes we close the shop at 10pm, go to the wardrobe area to get changed, and only reach home about midnight. And on Saturdays we close the shop at 12.30am, how crazy is that?!

Me at the University & Career Preparation workshop in school. I can't say it was extremely useful but I did learn quite a number of things about resume writing and interview skills that I hadn't known before.
Also the people who attended the workshop were kinda weird, like, the kind that I wouldn't be able to click with. So thank God when it came to carrying out activities in groups, two BA people (Justin & Qiyi) were in mine hallelujah. Okay I may sound quite BA-biased but it's a fact that I find it hard to get along with people from any other faculty. |

Brunch with the family at Privé at Marina Keppel Island. It was such a gorgeous looking place with all the yachts docked there and the breathtaking skyline in the back view. |
 |
Privé's Ultimate Breakfast! The sausage was kinda small and tough and the bacon strips weren't as crispy as it was supposed to be. But the fries are absolute delishhhhhh! Crispy on the outside but just soft enough on the inside without being too mushy! |
 |
Hazelnut Praline Royale Cake. Wasn't as fantastic as people had raved about, just ok :-/ |
 |
One of the days during out retail training session where we had time to roam around the park! |
 |
Had so much fun at retail training because we were allowed to roam the park until closing! The guy in the striped shirt is from this group called Daddy O's that perform just outside Mel's Drive-In and I swear one of their job criteria is definitely to be handsome/cute/good-looking because they were all absolutely adorbs. |
 |
The people I met and the new friends I've made at retail training! They were all interns from TP/SP except for a couple of us who were casuals (part-timers)... |
 |
Yay Woody Woodpecker so cute hehehe :P |

Attended Chun's book launch of Shrines & Streetlights about two weeks back! It's basically a compilation of all the poems he has written throughout his life, and this is his very first publication. He's an amazing writer and I'm glad to have seen him grown so much over the past 11 years I've known him.
I'm not much of a poetry person and I don't study literature so honestly speaking, I hardly understood the book HAHAHAHA. Though I understand that writing poems is his passion, he has expressed interest in writing novels before and I really hope he's able to do that! (novels i can appreciate la ok XD)
Anyway, he's just a brilliant young man and I really believe that he has so, so much in store for him in the future! I think I'll just be seeing him in newspapers and magazines non-stop like his mum and dad lol. Damn proud to have such an amazing friend for me to brag about HEHEHE ^^ |
Okay bye that's all that happened in three weeks, my life damn boring.
