Thanks to Disney and 24seven, I got a pair of tickets for the movie premiere of The Last Song on 11 May 2010!
The Last Song is a movie adaptation of a book by the same name by Nicholas Sparks. The story revolves around the summer of Ronnie Miller's seventeenth year, during which she is sent to stay with her estranged father. Through their shared love of music, the duo reconnects.
Personally, I wasn’t very excited about catching this movie, since I’m not exactly a huge fan of Miley Cyrus. But regardless, I rushed over to Lido after my lessons ended, and brought my sis along with me :)
I think the movie was quite short considering it was only 107 minutes, and so many things were going on in the movie! :( But nevertheless, it was a story about family, love, trust, and second chances.
I really liked the movie actually, well, at least it was much better than I’d expected. Okay I’d expected to squirm at Miley Cyrus’ acting. But it was okay… I guess :P
The movie was a real tear-jerker :/ (c’mon, it’s a Nicholas Sparks story, what do you expect!) Heh, so I ended up crying my eyeballs out during the movie. Because at some points of the show, it was really touching – so I cried. At others, it was really sad – so I cried. Then when the actors in the movie were crying, I ENDED UP CRYING WITH THEM ALSO! Hahahahah!!! FML seriously.
Overall, it’s a typical love story that never really happens in real life, but worth having us to fantasise that it might actually happen. It’s something that all of us dream of, to be involved in a relationship where we’re madly in love, with the occasional drama that happens.
Liam Hemsworth is hotttttttttttttt! And that itself is a good enough reason for you to go watch the movie! :D :D
And I’m sure you’d feel compelled to watch the movie even if you hate Miley Cyrus.
Teehee! ^^
And do join the Disney Studios Singapore facebook group for updates on upcoming movies! :D
